Due to the developments around COVID-19 (coronavirus), I wanted to take a moment to update you on the current status of Millman National Land Services and our ability to operate.

You Are Our Priority. Rest assured that the Millman team is taking the necessary steps to ensure the current environment will not impact our ability to transact business or take care of you, our clients.

We Are Prepared. Millman is primarily a national land surveying firm and is uniquely proud of having licensed land surveyors with over 44 states as direct employees, instead of being coordinators that subcontract to local surveyors. Local surveyors across the country are being bombarded with conflicting Federal, State and local instructions in this crisis. Some are closing as they are “non-essential” businesses in jurisdictions that are instructing their closure, some are not staffed to deal with staying open. We have a business continuity plan in place and we are continuing to adjust, align and refine the plan to ensure an integrated approach. Our affiliate, Millman Servicios Nacionales Inmobiliarios de Mexico, is fully operational and will continue to support us as needed. We are confident in our teams and technology’s ability to provide uninterrupted service and support, and we will continue to work both internally and with our external partners to provide a safe environment for our employees and minimize potential future impacts to our employees and clients. We are monitoring the local county offices, travel restrictions and title company operations and will update our clients if anything occurs in these areas that would affect our operation.

Protecting Out People. Our offices remain open for business, however, as a precautionary measure we have instructing our employees to perform their work remotely where possible. Since most of our employees are home based already, this is a quick easy move. While this is a temporary measure for our office staff, we will continue to closely monitor the impact of these events and will update our approach, if necessary, as things change in this environment.
